
Concord College is England’s premier international co-educational boarding school set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside, with around 580 students aged 13-19. Academic achievement at Concord College is exceptional. During 2023-24, students achieved 89% 7-9 (A*/A) at GCSE and 73.8% A*/A at A level. We are also delighted that over 75 students have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge and over 150 students offered places at Imperial College London in the last five years.
We wish to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic part-time Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) on a permanent basis from September 2025.
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach English as an Additional Language to exam groups across the age and ability range (IGCSE, First for Schools and IELTS). A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the college is expected. Applications from newly qualified teachers will be considered.
We offer a generous remuneration package which includes a salary significantly above Main Scale, duty payments, complimentary lunch, participation in the Aviva Pension Trust for Independent Schools and private health insurance.
